In Class 11th Zoology, In the chapter Animal Kingdom, under Phyllum Coelenterata it is given that the Coelenterates are "Sessile or Free Swimming" upon looking up a dictionary, it said that sessile means fixed. The statement is quite vague and contradictory. Please do explain and resolve my confusion.
