We need to calculate the effort

Using formula of effort

\dfrac{effort\ arm}{load\ arm}=\dfrac{load}{effort}

Put the value into the formula

\dfrac{120}{80}=\dfrac{60}{effort}

effort=\dfrac{60\times80}{120}

effort=40

We need to calculate the mechanical advantage

Using formula of mechanical advantage

M.A=\dfrac{Load}{effort}

Put the value into the formula
