15/50 students get 75% marks in Grade VII.
15/40 students get 75% marks in GradeVIII.
Ratio of students getting 75% marks of Grade VII : VIII = 15/50 :15/40
=0.3 : 0.375
=1 : 1.25
=4 : 5

Answer:

vii - 3:10

viii - 3:8

class viii recieved better results.

Step-by-step explanation:

No.of students in vii who got 75\% in maths = 15/50

No.of students in viii who recieved 75 in maths = 15/40

Ratio of students who got 75 in maths of class vii = 15/50

= 3/10

=3:10

Ratio of students who got 75 in maths of class viii = 15/40

= 3/8

= 3:8
