The ventral nerve cord usually consists of a pair of partially fused nerve trunks running longitudinally along the ventralplane of the animals, from the anterior to posterior (the thoracic and abdominal tagma in the arthropods). ... In some animals, the bilateral ganglia are fused into a single large ganglion per segment.

ANSWER:

In cockroach, ventral nerve cord is present in the head sinus.

EXPLANATION:

Cockroach has a complex ventral nerve cord. Cockroach’s ventral nerve cord starting from the 6th abdominal ganglion till the brain is consisted of axons of large diameter. The ventral nerve cord of cockroach has a close association with the ventral diaphragm of the cockroach.

Each muscles of the ventral cord has its own supply that helps it in moving back and forth from the abdomen and increase the contact and mixing of the hemolymph and ganglia.
