Answer :- √2 times

d0 = √ (2 x h x Re)  --- (1)

where d0 = old range, h = height of antenna, Re = Radius of earth

Now, height is doubled,

d1 = √ (2 x 2 h x Re)  --- (2)

where d1 = old range, h = height of antenna, Re = Radius of earth

d1 = √2 x √(2 x h x Re) = √2 x d0

d1 = √2 x d0

New range is √2 times old range.
