In compound microscope, the objiect is 1cm from the objective lens, the are 30m apart and the intermediate image is 5cm.

Focal distance, f= 5cm

Find distance, d= 25 cm

In a compound microscope,m Mo × Me

thus,

30 = (1+d/f)

30 = (1+25/5)

thus, Mo= (ans)= 5
