In a conductometric titration, the titre should be always very much concentrated than the solution to be titrated because of the following reasons:

  • In the case of conductometric titration, a shape change in the value of conductivity is observed, which is not easily observed.
  • So, by taking the titre much concentrated than the solution, a sharp change in the measurement of conductivity can be observed by the addition of a single drop of titrant when the endpoint is near.
