In copulation the male sperm enters the female reproductive part and during release of ova it fertilizes with sperm and form zygote.............Then why during period it does not occur menstrual cycle

during period the inner linning of the uterus breaks down and comes through the vagina in the form of blood and mucus, when sperm enters the female reproductive organ during period there is no lining to recieve the growing Embryo hence .....
