In covering a distance of 150km a person save 3 hour if he travel at 1.25 times his usual speed . what is his usual speed​

Answer:

let the original speed of person be s and time taken be t for distance D.

D= s*t .

when we increase his speed by 25 % then his speed is 1.25s and time is t-6.

so D=1.25s*(t-6)

on dividing these equations,we get

1=t/1.25(t-6)

1.25(t-6)=t

1.25t-t=7.5

0.25t=7.5

t=30 minutes
