The poet has recreated a picture of the Indian countryside very effectively. She talks of extensive groves of spice, fields of rice. She mentions streams with Lotus growing in plenty and dance of fireflies at night that lights up the surroundings and poppy plants with colourful flowers and neem that are common in rural countryside.
