Step-by-step explanation:

T. S. A OF CYLINDER IS 2πr(h+r)

2πr(h+r) --->1

LET "a" =2πr(h+r)

NOW r2=r/2,h2=h/2

T.S.A=

 \frac{2\pi \times r( \frac{h}{2} +  \frac{r}{2} ) }{2}

NOW TAKE LCM

=

 \frac{2\pi \times r( \frac{h + r}{2} )}{2}

=

 \frac{2\pi \times r}{2}  \times  \frac{(h + r)}{2}

=

 \frac{2\pi \times r(h + r)}{4}

FROM THE 1ST EAUATION WE CAN CHANGE LIKE THIS.

=

 \frac{a}{4}

=TSA/4

SO THE TSA OF THE CYCLINDER CHNAGED BY 1/4 TIMES.
