Matter :- Anything which acquire some space having some mass as well as volume called matter. In short anything which takes some space are basically called as Matter .
So coming to your question
We observe more than one kind of Matter
Reason :- We come across many substance in our day to day life which have different properties and made up of more than one kinds of matter.
For example :- we see a mixtures and different metals or compounds , both of them have the different arrangement of matter and thus they are made up of more than one kinds of matter.
