• To find the number of students who like Biology and Physics, we have to use the formula of :

$\sf Biology = \dfrac{Total \: students}{100} \times Percentage$

$\sf Physics = \dfrac{Total \: students}{100} \times Percentage$

• Where, we have to multiply the Total Student and percent. Then divide it by 100.

• Total Students = 250
• Physics = 40%

To find :

• number of students who like biology and Physics.​

Solution :

$\sf Physics = \dfrac{Total \: students}{100} \times Percentage$

           $\sf = \dfrac{250}{100} \times 40$

           $\sf = \dfrac{10000}{100}$

           $\sf = 100$

∴ 100 of them like Physics.

$\sf Biology = \dfrac{Total \: students}{100} \times Percentage$

           $\sf = \dfrac{250}{100} \times 20$

           $\sf = \dfrac{5000}{100}$

           $\sf = 50$

∴ 50 of them like Biology.
