In deserts, sand consists of very smooth and tiny grains of sand. What would happen if a man or a heavy animal steps over a path of such sand in the desert.

The sand is very smooth but it adjusts and fits on top of eachother and on a same time keeps moving with the wind. When someone steps on a sand the feet goes down like few inches but doesnot go any further because it adjusts till bottom and forms a floor of sand
