Explanation:

Let us take an example    \frac{22.5}{3}

In the above example,

Dividend = 22.5        Divisor = 3

Now

 \frac{22.5}{3}  =  \frac{\frac{225}{10} }{3}   =  \frac{225}{30}

So here in dividing decimals we have to add as many zeroes as the number of digits after decimal point in dividend
