Hey here is your answer

your question is :-

In duration of sometimes the compound interest on ₹1800 at 10% per annum is ₹378. Find the duration of time ?

your answer is :-

As we know the formula

a \:  = p(1 +  \frac{r}{100}  {)}^{t}  \\  \\

Here a = amount

p = principle

r = rate

t = time

let the time be x

amount = principle + compound interest

amount = 1800 rs. + 378 rs.

amount = 2178 rs.

rate = 10 %

principle = 1800 rs.

So, let's start the answer :-

 a \:  = p(1 +  \frac{r}{100}  {)}^{t}  \\  \\ 2178 = 1800 \times (1 +  \frac{10}{100}  {)}^{x}  \\  \\ 2178 = 1800 \times (\frac{110}{100}  {)}^{x}  \\  \\  (\frac{110}{100}  {)}^{x}  = \frac{2178}{1800}  \\  \\  (\frac{11}{10}  {)}^{x}  =  \frac{121}{100}  \\  \\ (\frac{11}{10}  {)}^{x}  =  (\frac{11}{10}  {)}^{2}  \\  \\ x = 2
So , here x = 2 means the time is 2 years.

Hope this helps you
