1. p(x)=x^2+3(x^2)-5x+8 g(x)=x-3
Given p(x)÷g(x)
Then remainder =?

By remainder theorem
Remainder=p(3)=3^2+3(3^2)-5(3)+8
p(3)=9+27-15+8
p(3)=29

Therefore remainder =29
