in each of the following determine value(S) of p for which the given equation have real root
1) PX (X - 2) + 6=0​
2) PX ^2 + 8 x- 2=0​

not so complicated

Just find the Discriminant of the equation and as we know to have real roots the discriminant of an equation is equal or bigger than 0 so ,equate it with > and = then do what's done in the solution.
