x°=p°+q°

AN II BE

angle A + angle p= 180° (co int. angle)

104° + p° = 180°

p° = 180° - 104°

p° = 76°

CD ll BE

angle C + angle q= 180° (co int. angle)

116° + q° = 180°

q° = 180°-116°

q° = 64°

Hence x° = p° + q°

x° = 76°+64°

x° = 140°
