We know that,

  • p and q are parallel.
  • t is a transversal.

We have to find,

  • x and y and z.

We know that,

Corresponding angles are same.

Now,

120° corresponds to y

Hence,

y = 120°

y and z are exterior angles.

And we know that,

Sum of exterior angles is 180°.

Hence,

=> y + z = 180°

=> 120° + z = 180°

=> z = 180° - 120°

z = 60°

x and y are alternate exterior angle

And,

Alternate exterior angles are congruent.

Hence,

x = 120°

Answer :

  • x = 120°
  • y = 120°
  • z = 60°
