Draw a line GH parallel to AB and CD passing through E

∠GEA=∠EAB (Alternate angles)

∠GEA=65∘

∠GEC=∠ECD (Alternate angles)

∠GEC=35∘

∠CEA=∠GEA+∠GEC (From figure)

x=65∘ +35 ∘=100 ∘
