In sn1 reaction, a carbocation as an intermediate is formed and a tertiary carbocation is most stable one.
Therefore, Tertiary compounds (3°) undergo sn1 reaction very readily
Priority sequence: 3°>2°>1°
(a) compound 1 will undergo sn1 reaction since Cl is attached to 3° carbon
(b) compound 1 will undergo sn1 reaction, coz Cl is attached to 2° carbon
