LHS = a-(b-c)

5/3 - {11/2 - (-9/4)}

=5/3 - (22+9/4)

=5/3 - 31/4

=20 - 93 / 12

= 73/12

RHS = (a-b) -c

(5/3 - 11/2) - (-9/4)

= (10 - 33/6) - (-9/4)

= -23/6 - (-9/4)

= -46 - (-27)/12

= -46 +27 / 12

= -19/12

Therefore,

LHS doesn't equal RHS
