in the earth crust more metals are formed all metals are three type low reactive metal, high reactive metals and medium reactive metals. low reactive metals react other substance so they are found in free state on the earth crust high reactive metal react other reactive metal formed compound medium reactive metals are react with hydrogen Oxygen and other low reactive substance

aluminium is reactive metal according to metal activity series. It makes compounds easily being more reactive while gold is at the base of series and do not form compounds easily. Also, gold is an inert metal and do not react.hence aluminium is present in compound form and gold is present in a native form in the earth's crust.
