in electrolysis why the electrodes dipped into the electrolytes solution partly not fully??​

1. In other words, the current travels from negative electrode to positive electrode.
2. It is an essential step to complete the circuit or else the current may not pa.ss through.
3. If the electrode is not dipped in electrolyte, the electrons would stop the movement.
