Electrostatic plotter is a plotter that draws images on paper in an electrostatic method.
Most rarely used for Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) giving raster images either via a Liquid Toner/Dry Toner model.
Liquid Toners use toner that is positively charged and thus gets linked to paper's negative charge.
It occurs later when the toner particles goes inside a line of electrodes in the form of tiny wires/nibs.
Spacing of the wires controls the resolution of the plotter i.e.100/400 wires to the inch.
Dry Toner models use a method same to xerography in photocopiers.
