in electroplating iron is covered with copper(in dil.sulphuric acid). what is the colour due to? what will happen if you interchange the battery terminal?

The colour is due to copper at the anode. Cu dissociates to Cu2+ ions
Which are blue in colour.
If u interchange the terminals:
1) the flow of current will change
2) iron will be electroplated on copper (ie; the vice Versa)
