Hi friend, Here's the required answer:-
Yes you have to multiply the whole equation with a number. For example:-
2x-3y= 7 --------(1)
x+ 4y=4 ----------(2)
So multiply the Equation (2) with 2,
2x+8y = 4.
And now solve it by subtracting Equation (1) from (2).
