In English exam,a student scored 40% marks in the first paper out of total marks 200.How much should he score in second paper out of total marks 250,if he is to get an average of both subjects atleast 50%?

145 marks in the second

and to get 50% on average student has to score

225 out of 450

so in the second paper he must score 225-80= 145

which is 58% in the second exam
