dimensional formula for RHS side I.e right hand side RT for temperature dimensional formula is kelvin and R is fixed constant .
From this we can conclude that there is no mass,length, time is in RHS .
Now let's see LHS I.e
(p+a/v²)(v-b)
we know dimensional formula for p(pressure)=ML-¹T-²
V(volume)=L³
there from above statements we can take dimensional formula for
(p+a/v²)(v-b) is zero in rhs
I.e
((ML-¹T-²)+a/L6)(L³-b)=0
then by solving this
b=L³ and
a=ML5T-²
then a/b=ML²T-²
