2H_{2}S + 3O_{2} \rightarrow 2H_{2}O+2SO_{2}

Here you can see that 3 × 2 = 6 atoms of oxygen on reactant side.

On the product side :

  • 2 oxygen atom from water
  • 2 × 2 = 4 oxygen atom from SO2

So, total = 2 + 4 = 6 atoms on product side.
