Answer :-

   \dfrac{x}{2}  -  \dfrac{x}{3}  = 8

  \implies\dfrac{3x  -  2x}{6}  = 8

 \implies \: x = 8 \times 6

 \implies \:  x \:  = 48

Hence, x = 48.
