Formula of Ferrous sulphate crystal is FeSO4.7H2O having colour green.
When heated it will loose water of crystalization and will turn white.
If further heated then Ferric Oxide(Fe2O3) will be prepared.Which is common rust of brown colour.
So it depends on how much you have heated.
