(d) oxidation of Fe Ore. Iron limestone are used for the iron extraction to remove impurities from the iron and becomes molten slag.


Calcium Carbonate (CaO3) are limestone catabolically that reacts with forming the calcium oxide(CaO) and carbon dioxide(CO2).


Especially, the CaO are highly reactive when subjected to extreme heat of the furnace.


Reaction is CaO + FeS + C that mainly known as CO with series of reactions.
