This is due to the release of gases present in the fires charcoal quantity as it has a bad chemical composition it often, will definitely, lead to, incomplete combustion (a phenomenon were there is an improper reaction taking place) this leads to the excessive amount of the infamous carbon monoxide which is a poisonous gas as it can lead to many respiratory disorders and diseases. It works by suffocating the wind pipe and the bronchiolitis of the wind pipe making a person feel uneasy and go into a mode of seizure, nausea, delusion and suffocation. It has the ability to react with the haemoglobin present in the blood to form carboxyhaemoglobin which further reduces the surface area because of which less oxygen is carried into the major blood vessels and to other parts of the body (such as, brain, spinal cord, etc.). One more symptom of is asphyxiation and hypoxia (which are common).

It’s because the carbon monoxide from coal when inhaled gets mixed with the blood to form carboxyhaemoglobin which when reaches the brain causes suffocation
