In factorisation chapter,we need to split the middle term and work.Can anyone tel me how to split the middle term easily with an example.

it is very simple split the middle term such that sum equal to middle term and product equal to first and last term. eg 2xsquare+4x+2
2xsquare+2x+2x+2
here sum is 4x
and product is 4xsquare
