Given : length of movie at the cinema was normally with a mean of 148 minutes and a standard deviation pf 19 minutes

To Find : third quartile

Solution:

third quartile  means 75 %

z score for 75 %  = 0.676

Mean = 148

SD = 19

z score  = ( Value - Mean ) / SD

=> 0.676 = ( Value - 148)/19

=> value = 160.84

75 % Movies length is less than  161  minutes
