i.e. 1/8( 1 corner atom is shared by 8 atoms)*8(at corners)
B atoms
Since it is an fcc arrangement no. Of tetrahedral voids = 8
Therefore for alternate tetrahedral voids we have 4 B atoms.
Hence the formula is AB4
