In fig. (1), the man walks 2 m carriy a mass of 15kg on his hane. In fig. (2), he walks the same distance pulling the rope behind him. The rope goes over a pulley, and a mass of 15 kg hangs at its other end. In which case is the work done by gravity is greater?

case1) W= Fs Cos theta

W= mgs cos90

=15×10×0×s=0

case2) W=Fs cos theta

=mgs cos 0

= 15×10×1×2=300

so, case2 has more work done by gravity
