Given : PQRS is an isosceles trapezium and ∠P = 2x , ∠S = 3x , ∠Q = y

We have , PQRS an isosceles trapezium , then

PS = RQ

Since the Sum of adjacent angles are supplementary, Then

= ∠P + ∠S = 180°

= 2x + 3x = 180°

= 5x = 180°

= x = 180°/5

x = 36°

Now, PS = RQ

 [PQRS is an isosceles trapezium]

∠P = ∠Q

[Angle opposite to equal sides are equal ]

= 2x = y

= 2 × 36 = y

y = 72°

Hence, the values of x is 36°  and y is 72°.
