Step-by-step explanation:

=> 2y+2y+5y = 180°

=> 9y = 180°

=> y = 180°/9°

=> y= 20°

hence y= 20°

THIS IS YOUR ANSWER FRIENDS.

Solution :

To solve this , we will use the concept that the sum of all the angles around a point add upto 360°

Here , AB , CD and EF are all straight lines ; the three intersecting at a point O

Hence , all the angles around O should add upto 360°

By vertically opposite angles property :

Angle EOC = Angle FOD = 2y°

Angle EOA = Angle BOF = 5y° .

Angle BOC = Angle AOD = 2y°

Now , all the angles to 360°

=> Angle COE + angle EOA + angle AOD + angle COB + angle BOF + angle FOD = 360°

=> 18y = 360°

=> y = 20°

This is the required answer .
