in the figure given AP is equal to QC

and AP is parallel to QC

if in a quadrilateral opposite sides are equal and parallel, it is a parallelogram.

So, APCQ is a parallelogram.

AC is a diagonal in parallelogram APCQ.

we know that diagonal in a parallelogram divides the parallelogram into two congruent triangles.

so,∆APC is congruent to ∆AQC.

in a parallelogram opposite sides are equal so PC is equal to AQ.

in a parallelogram opposite sides are parallel so PC is parallel to AQ.

in the beginning of the solution itself we have prove that APCQ is a parallelogram

hence proved
