Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given :

In fig 5 if AB parallel to CD then find the value of x and y .

to find :

find the value of x and y .

solution :

  • Consider given the figure, Line, AB II CD and line P is transversal

  • line.

  • Now. x + 50 = 180° (angle x and angle

  • Now, Zy Zx (alternate interior angle) =

  • 50+ y = 127

  • y = 127-50

  • y = 77°

  • Value of 50° and y = 77°

  • Hence, this is the answer

Given

AB parallel to CD

To find

x and y

Let's start

As Angle APQ and PQR are alternate interior angles and AB is parrallel to CD so they are equal

Therefore ,

 \sf \: x = 50

Angle APQ + Angle PQR = 180 [ LINEAR PAIR ]

50 + y = 180

y= 180 - 50

y = 130

Result :-

\clubsuit\: \: \sf\bold{\blue{x = 50}}

\clubsuit\: \: \sf\bold{\blue{y = 130}}
