Step-by-step explanation:

In Δ QTR,

∠ TQR + ∠ QRT + ∠ QTR = 180°

==>  40° + y + 90° = 180°

==>  y = 180° - 130°

==> y = 50°.

And,

∠ QSP = ∠ SPR + ∠ SRP

==>  x = 30° + y

==> x = 30° + 50°

==>  x = 80°

Hence, ∠ x = 80° and ∠ y = 50°.

Step-by-step explanation:

In triangle QTR

Q=40°

T=90°

Using Angle Sum property

Q+T+R=180°

40°+90°+x=180°

x+130°=180°

x=180°-130°

x=50°

now in ∆PRS,

by exterior angle property

P + R =y

30°+50°=y

y=80°
