Given : l1 ‖ l2
Let ∠1 = 37° , ∠4 = 58° and ∠5 = x°
∠1 = ∠2 = 37° [Corresponding angles]
∠2 = ∠3 [Vertically opposite angle]
Then, ∠3 = 37°
∠3 + ∠4 + ∠5 = 180° [Linear pair]
37° + 58° + x = 180°
95° + x = 180°
x = 180° - 95°
x = 85°
Hence the value of x is 85°
Option (B) 85° is correct.
