In fig.8.29 angle DCE =60 degree and angle ACD=40 degree ,find x, y and z.​

Answer:

dca+dce=180° (linear pair)

40°+60°= 180°

100°=180°

180°-100°=80°

dca+acb=180°

180°-80°

z= 100°

z=100°

acb=abc( opp interior angles)

so, x=100°

y =?

abc+acb+bac=180°( sum of angles of a triangle measure 180°)

100°+140°+bac=180°

240°+bac=180°

bac=240°-180° = 60°

x 100° y 60°, z = 140°
