We know that , AB || BQ,

so,

ar(ABQ) = ar (PBQ) [ between the same base BQ and same height ]

And,

ar(BCQ)= Ar ( BQR) [ between the same base BQ and same height ]

Adding eq 1 and 2

ar(ABQ) + Ar (BCQ) = ar( PBQ) + ar(BQR )

Ar (ACQ) = Ar (PBR)
