In fig. AQ and AR are tangents from A to the circle with centre O. P is a point on the circle. Prove that

AB+BP=AC+CP​

Answer:

Aq=AR..... tangent outside circle

but Bc is also a tangent

it equally joins AQand AR so AB=Ac ...1

and p is mid point so BP=PC....2

ADD 1 AND 2 AB+BP =AC+PC
