X + 50 degree = 180 degree ( Linear pair)

X = 180 degree - 50 degree

X =130 degree .

Y = 130 degree ( Vertically opposite angles)

X = Y = 130 degree ( Alternate interior angle)

Than,

AB is parallel to CD ( using converse of alternate angles) .
