const. draw a line AB through M parallel to PQ and RS .
Now as AB parallel PQ
hence angle XMB+ angle QXM=180 because co interior angles
so angle XMB+135=180
angleXMB= 180-135=45
now as AB parallel RS
hence angle BMY= angleMYR because alternate angles
so angleBMY= 40
now angle XMY= angle XMB+ angleBMY
XMY= 40+ 45= 85
XMY= 85
